Karl Seguin’s Foundations of Programming book makes an impression on me

Thanks to Karl Seguin for its book named Foundations of Programming.

I read the book and it makes a real impression on me. During reading I was filling the author as a man who really loves programming and it is not just a field of work for him. It is really important for me because I believe that to be a developer is not just an occupation it is an art.

The book is well structured and it covers the basics of current trends of software development. It is full  of nice simple examples that are easy for understanding.

Why it is really nice for me? Because when I’ve started to hear/read about unit testing, mocking, dependency injection, domain driven development etc. I had to go through a lot of information at different places and search for a right one. But Karl Seguin wrote everything in one paper - Foundations of Programming.

I found few things to think about and to research in near future. I hope everybody from beginner to experienced developer can find something in this book to think about.
