Just re-checked the option 'Admin page statistics' a few minutes ago - works fine here using version 0.9.1 (dev) you can get <a href="http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/cystats.zip" rel="nofollow">here</a>, until now there never was bug report about the admin-stats-switch not working?!
